MOSES SITATI

Co-Founder

Moses is a practitioner in international development with over 18 years experience in international development. He supports Laleo's partnership building and resource mobilization, and oversees the community's digital engagement and presence. He holds an MA in Sustainable Development and a BA in Economics.

JANICE KAUNDA SITATI

Director

Janice is Co-Founder and Executive Director at Laleo Co-learning Group.  In addition to strategy development and maintaining key relationships, Janice leads the academic function of the school,  guides the operations of the academic processes, and works to foster an integrated learning community between parents, learners and teachers at Laleo. Prior to Laleo, Janice practiced for 8 years as a home educator. She is also a trained advocate having started her career at a leading law firm in Kenya - Walker Kontos Advocates. She holds a MSc in Education Management, and a Bachelor of Laws Degree. Her MSc research focused on delivery of personalized learning in home education among elementary level learners in Kenya.

TEACHING STAFF

Laleo has a young and dynamic staff team spread across our two campuses. The teachers are in charge of all direct instruction in the central classroom, and they encourage and expect students to learn the material assigned through independent practice and homework. Teachers also provide consistent feedback to students and parents regarding the progress in each class.

Steve G. Mbuthia is a Entrepreneurship and Leadership Trainer, Mentor and Facilitator with over 10 years experience in the Micro and Small Business, helping them set up and align their business and personal strategic plans and goals.

Florence Wanyoike

Advisor

Florence Wanyoike is an Educator and a co- founder of Potterhouse School Runda. She has over 30 years’ experience both in teaching and leadership service. She is currently the Executive Director of Potterhouse School having grown the school from inception to now full School with an average enrollment of 500 students.  Close to her heart is Christian Education which she believes is the heart of character formation that forms the foundation of teaching and developing skills and abilities in kids.
